My name is Anna Comet (@Cometi). I was born in Girona but I live in a town near Vic since 2001. I started skiing when I was 2 years old and when I was 6 I participated in my first competition. Alpine skiing has been my first sport until the age of 18 years when a serious injury in my right knee took me out of the slopes. I lived in the French Alps and in Andorra with the Spanish National Ski Team (@RFEDInv) where I trained and competed around the world until I got injured just when I was starting to be a professional skier. After two operations and a long period of rehabilitation I went back again to mountain sports.
In 2015, I decided to concentrate my efforts in long distance running races. Since November 2014, when I won my first Everest Trail Race (@Everest_ETR), I have finished one of my best seasons reaching the top 5 in all the World Cups I have participated and I have been 3 in the overall World Series 2015 (@Skyrunning_com).
I studied at the Universitat de Vic (@uvic_news), a degree in Journalism and a degree in Trabslation. I’m a sports specialist in alpine ski and hiking and I work half-time as a freelance journalist, translator, personal trainer and teacher and the other half I’m a sports professional (@Dynafit_es) (@Bvsport_es) (@TheElementsH2O) (@AutoPlaVic) (@LedLenser_es) (@espaisalutvic) (@OpticaCampusVic).
The best of my life: my family, my closest friends, my dog and sports.
In my free time I love writing, relaxing and doing all those things my trainings and competitions don’t leave any time for.
This week, I would like to share with you my interests and daily life in the centre of Catalunya and the Pyrenees. We can discuss about sports, environment, culture, etc.
Looking forward to connecting with all of you.
