My thesis research on Creativity in Public Relations was awarded the 2014 Prat Gaballí Prize from the Catalan Professional Association of Publicists and PR practitioners (Col·legi de Publicitaris i RP de Catalunya) (@ColPubliRP ). I’m also a member of the Organizing Committee of the international conference on public relations BCN PR Meeting, since the first edition in 2011 (@BCNMeetingPR).
My articles have been published in scientific journals such as Public Relations Review, Sphera Publica, Revista Internacional de Relaciones Públicas, and Trípodos, among others. As a member of the GAME Research Group (@GameRecerca) my research interests are focused on public relations, creativity, social media and gamification.
Besides my academic CV, I worked for more than 10 years in international Public Relations consultancies such as Llorente & Cuenca (@LlorenteyCuenca) or Hill + Knowlton (@HKStrategies), and also as an event manager and public relations in the Communication departments of several companies and institutions like CAATEEB (@apabcn_cat) and DiR (@ClubsDiR).
I was born in Barcelona but I live in Alella, which is a little town close to Barcelona and located in the Mediterranean coast. Alella is well known for its wines (D.O. Alella). I like travelling, hiking with my family and friends, gardening, reading, and doing Pilates.
This week as @catalanvoices curator I would like to share with you some of my academic interests on #PublicRelations and #CorporateCommunications, as well as some personal experiences in Barcelona, Alella and Tarragona. I hope you will enjoy it!
