Curator #158: Jana Rue

My name is Jana-Chin Rué Glutting (@janarue95), born in Shaanxi, China; I was adopted by an American dad and a Catalan mom, therefore I have been raised in the USA and Catalonia.

I am 20 years old, currently finishing my three-years Economics bachelor in Utrecht University, The Netherlands. I am extremely interested in Conflict Studies, International Politics and the socio-economic and political realities of developing countries.

Alongside my studies, I am currently in the board of a student association (CS Ubuntu) which keeps me really busy. As far as my hobbies, they are extremely broad and random, I enjoy meeting up with friends, watching House of Cards and How to Get Away with Murder, as well as going to insightful conferences on current world-topics.

Since this year I will not be going back to Catalonia for Easter Holidays and in the Netherlands they do not seem to have a free week, I am hoping to be with friends during that period: who knows what I will stumble upon and share with you

Furthermore, I wish that with the 5 days I will be hosting, you will a different perspective on pressing matters around the world.

As your curator, you will get an insight on (Utrecht) student life and a glimpse on my daily doses of random Twitter update on topics and articles that I will often retweet.

Looking forward to being your curator this week from March 21st to 27th!!!
