My name is David Berga (https://twitter.com/davidberga). I am a 44-year-old Catalan, raised in Barcelona but I’m currently living in a little village called Vilobí d’Onyar, which is home to the Girona-Costa Brava airport.
I am into performing arts. I started out as a comedian and lately have expanded into international theatrical management and production (www.davidberga.cat). I create, produce and travel. While doing so I meet lots of people at dozens of international theater festivals: I feel blessed and lucky because of this. Normally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to try to define someone by their profession, but I think it is ok when one feels like there is not much difference between one’s work and his personal life, when you fully enjoy what you do.
Geopolitics, language, culture, cooking, theatre, etc. these things have always interested me and they have made me discover a wide variety of places and experiences.
When I’m not travelling I live in the middle of the nature, where I take care of a little organic vegetable garden that helps me keep balanced after many hours sitting in front of a computer. Oh, I forgot to mention that I’m also a foster parent from time to time.
